We’ve always been fascinated by how jazz and hip-hop have influenced each other, shaping the sound of modern music in powerful ways and inspiring the definitions of culture. FOOM! began as a 5-piece group with piano, drums, bass, and two MCs, all united by a commitment to bringing people together through live performances.
FOOM! is a creative collective made up of musicians, artists, and innovators who create dynamic, genre-blending music and immersive live-show experiences. We specialize in fusing diverse sounds—from hip-hop to jazz, rock, funk, and beyond. We call our genre Florida-Core, an amalgamation of South Florida’s greatest musical and artistic influences.
We believe that art is a shared experience, and that belief is at the heart of everything we do. The core ideology of FOOM! is building a creative, inclusive community through music, art and live-shows.
As FOOM! continues to evolve, we’ll continue pushing our boundaries to create dynamic, meaningful experiences in South Florida and beyond.
