Filmed at the Miami Tropical Botanic Garden in Miami, FL. Special thanks to Casey Zapp and the entire team for welcoming us back for our Tiny Desk submission shoot on their incredible property. We recorded on the coldest night of the year in Miami, inside a restored greenhouse, huddled around propane heaters meant to protect the plants from the chill, yet simultaneously, creating the perfect set for our performance.
“Moonlight” is a true collaboration from the band, built collectively around a classic childhood melody brought in by Eddy. Each member contributed ideas that gradually evolved into the song as it lives today. That same spirit of patience, care, and shared responsibility reflects the garden itself, where sustainability is practiced through thoughtful, collective effort, with a focus on native landscapes and innovative irrigation solutions, in aid to both the environment and the surrounding community.
